Chamber Members Networking

On Thursday, August 8th, Widmer Interiors was host to the Peoria Area Chamber Business After Hours. Over 100 chamber members enjoyed drinks and appetizers while interacting and networking. Many fell in love and enjoyed using the framery “phone booth”, some so much as texting photos of it to their employers.

Prizes for Chamber Members in attendance ranged from $50 gift cards to local restaurants, and 1 coveted Herman Miller Eames Chair.  For those that needed something sweet, Barracks Catering who catered the event set up a delicious martini cheesecake bar.  Widmer also wanted to use this opportunity to help raise money for Almost Home Kids, which the employees have already been doing a fundraising campaign for the last few weeks.

Networking and interacting with local businesses inside our showroom not only makes the evening fun and interesting, but also sparks ideas or concepts to take back to their own businesses. It was a pleasant and fun evening, cannot wait till next time.
