2020 WidmerWISH Winner
On Tuesday, December 1, Widmer Interiors delivered furniture to this year’s WidmerWISH winner! With the help of HON furniture, we were able to deliver 12 task chairs to Warren Achievement Center in Monmouth, Illinois. Warren Achievement Center.
Every year, Widmer Interiors has the opportunity to give back through our WidmerWISH program. Non-profit organizations often have little to no budget for office furniture. Through WidmerWISH, we are able to award a local non-profit with office furnishings, courtesy of Widmer Interiors.
The 2020 winner of the WidmerWISH program is Warren Achievement Center, a local non-profit organization in Monmouth, IL. Warren Achievement Center’s mission is to enable persons with developmental disabilities to function to the maximum extent possible as responsible members of the community with the opportunity to choose and to realize their goals of where and how they live, learn, work and play. The organization has several residential homes, a sheltered workshop and transportation for senior citizens, persons with disabilities and the general public. Warren Achievement Center provides many opportunities for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn and be active members of the community. Staff are employed and specially trained to provide positive experiences in learning, recreation and independent living. WidmerWISH was pleased to present 12 task chairs to this inspiring organization yesterday.
